Orascom Development Egypt (ODE), a subsidiary of Orascom Development Holding (ODH), continues to support and sponsor the third edition of El Gouna Film Festival, which will be held from September 19 to 27, through its first home project in west Cairo, O West, Invest-Gate reports.

To ensure the longevity of GFF’s success and excellence in its third edition, ODE will be providing financial and technical support to this year’s festival through O West, which the developer launched, sponsored, and organized its first edition in 2017, according to a press statement on August 22.

ODE’s flagship project in 6th of October comes to complement the company’s touristic endeavors to restore Egypt’s position on the regional and global arena.

Samih Sawiris, chairman of ODH and founder of El Gouna, said, “ODH strongly believes in the Egyptian youth and their potential, as soon as they are provided with the necessary support. in sports and cultural sectors. For that reason, the company, through its pioneering project ‘El Gouna,’ has undertaken the responsibility of providing the full care and support to empower young people in many sports and cultural sectors.

In February, ODE has announced the official launch of O West, following the remarkable demand witnessed on the compound’s soft launch last December.
