OUD Hits EGP 100 mn Sales at Nile Property Expo

Egypt-based Orientals for Urban Development (OUD) has achieved over EGP 100 bn worth of sales at Nile property Expo, held in Riyadh, KSA from February 9 to 11, Invest-Gate reports

Shady Elzayat, OUD’s commercial director, said that the company showcased a number of distinguished projects including Oriental Coast in Marsa Alam, J’noub in the  New Administrative Capital (NAC), and Azadir in New Cairo.

OUD has provided its clients with special offers such as a 10% discount on purchasing any unit during the real estate exhibition, he added.

In July, OUD announced targeting EGP 300 mn in sales of real estate shows held during summer, starting as of July, while planning to participate with a vast portfolio that combines diverse residential, coastal, hotel, and industrial projects.

OUD is a joint-stock company established in 1994 to capitalize on the real estate boom in Egypt, with investments exceeding USD 3.1 bn up to date. OUD and its two subsidiaries, Red Sea Sharm for Tourism Development and Greater Cairo for Construction and Development, currently have a large portfolio of projects across four different sectors, namely real estate, hospitality and tourism, industrial development, and agriculture.
