A total of 1,632 residential units are under construction in a social housing project undertaken by the government in the new city of Akhmeme in Sohag, Upper Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.
“In the first phase of the project, water supplies to the city’s social housing sites and land plots will be completed. Meanwhile, the work on the water network will be done by the end of June,” Chairman of Akhmeme’s Authority Hossam Fathy reveals.
“The water plant has been completed with a total capacity of 2,000 cubic meters. Sewage works will, meanwhile, be disposed through a built-in unit of 2,000 cubic meters, treated three times and used to irrigate the green areas,” he adds.
