Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Development Mostafa Madbouly reveals that almost 16,000 condition booklets were withdrawn, up until May 10, as part of a public lottery held to sell 30,145 land plots, Invest-Gate reports.
The land areas range from 209 to 1,500 square meters, according to a press statement by the Housing Ministry.
The land plots, according to Madbouly, are offered by the Ministry for citizens of various income levels; 10,847 booklets were dedicated for social housing lands, 3,674 for the distinguished lands, and 1,419 for the most distinguished.
The minister adds that the booklet’s withdrawal will continue until May 15, at all branches of the Housing and Development Bank (HDB), from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, and from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm local time during Ramadan till June 28.
