Over 2,000 Land Plots to be Offered in 10th of Ramadan City

The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will be launching 2,224 land plots in the 10th of Ramadan City for applicants who previously applied in May 2016 lottery but did not win, according to a statement from Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly.

Applicants may not apply for more than one land plot through the Housing & Development Bank, where they are required to make a down payment and present their proof of payment receipt from December 19 to January 5, according to Supervisor of the Commercial and Real Estate Sectors at the NUCA Tarek El Sebaey.

The land plots are available on NUCA’s official website along with the terms and conditions for their reservation. NUCA will hold a public lottery later where reserved plots will be allocated. Down-payments will be refunded for those who do not receive a land plot.

Such public lotteries contribute to the ministry’s development program and guarantees land ownership to citizens in the new cities, aiming at “minimizing the spread of slum areas across the country,” Madbouly pointed out.
