Egypt’s real estate developer PACT has taken precautionary measures to combat the impact of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Invest-Gate reports.
This comes as part of the company’s policy that values the safety of our workers, employees, and clients, PACT said in an emailed statement to Invest-Gate on March 19.
The company has stopped controversial fingerprint-scanning time clocks for all its employees, while making sure that its office boys wear gloves and masks.
Cleaning procedures are followed to avoid any risk of transmitting the virus, the statement added. Disinfectants and sanitizing hand gels are being circulated, distributed and made available in every room at our premises
In addition, pregnant employees and mothers of young children have been granted approvals to work from home, it highlighted.
Meeting rooms are used only if absolutely necessary and are disinfected before and after using it. The company’s staff has also been trained on and ready to work, meet, and carry on all business deliverables remotely and in a timely fashion.
“We acknowledge that this is a time of uncertainty, which has a spillover on all industries and the mindset and decision-making of all potential and current clients, yet we believe that demand in itself will remain unchanged. It is just a phase where business, decision-making, and closing sales will be constrained and take a long time.”
“We will spare no effort to give our full support and give full dedication to our clients. We encourage all companies, teams, and families to minimize any risks, stay safe. and hope for the best,” the company underlined
