Palm Hills Developments has announced the signing of a partnership contract with the Association of Squash Professionals to sponsor and host the Commercial International Bank (CIB) PSA World Championships 2024, Invest-Gate reports.

This tournament is a testament to Palm Hills’ pioneering role in elevating Egypt’s global sporting position, as the company actively supports Egyptian talents and champions. Palm Hills also makes significant sports investments to develop and equip clubs and facilities to the highest standards.

The current edition of the CIB PSA World Championships features the participation of 64 male and female players representing 21 countries worldwide. The 2024 World Squash Championship will take place at the Palm Hills Sports Club in 6th of October City from May 9th to May 14th. The knockout rounds will be held on the glass squash court at the National Museum of Civilization from May 13th to 18th.

The tournament offers a total prize money of approximately EGP 50 mn, making it the highest prize money in sports history. Many notable players, including world number one Ali Farag, world number one Nour El-Sherbini, and world number two Nouran Gohar, will be participating.
