Palm Hills Club Hosts Largest Training Camp for Juniors in Middle East

Palm Hills Club, located in the 6th of October City, hosts the largest training camp for squash players in the Middle East, in participation with more than 100 players from Arab and foreign countries, Invest-Gate reports.

The camp will be held under the supervision of Amir Wagih, the squash legend in Egypt and one of the most important players in the game’s history. This camp targets to prepare players perfectly to participate in the International Arab Championship that is planned to be held at the Palm Hills Club from 6 to 11 July.

This comes within the framework of the Palm Hills Club’s strategy to host major local and international tournaments in various individual and team games, to encourage the practice of sports, and to provide an opportunity for talented youth to show and develop their abilities.

The training camp started on Saturday, June 24, with 100 players from different nationalities, including the United States of America, China, Germany, Canada, Greece, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, and Egyptian players.

For his part, Wagih comments, “The preparation camp for preparing the youth in the Arab International Championship contributes to the development of the players’ level of the, whether on the technical and physical levels, or the level of professional thinking.” Besides, he praised the club’s preparations to train the participants during the camp’s period.

Moreover, Tarek Attia, Vice President Community at Palm Hill Developments, highlights that the Palm Hills Club is keen on enhancing the players’ talents, thus, the club hosts the training camp for the third year in a row to prepare the players to represent Egypt globally.
