PHD Implements EGP 300 mn Hotels on North Coast

Palm Hills Developments (PHD) has invested nearly EGP 300 mn in the Egyptian hospitality industry to implement two niche boutique hotels within Hacienda White and Hacienda Bay, its flagship projects on the North Coast, Invest-Gate reports.

In Hacienda Bay, PHD has introduced “Le Sidi Boutique Hotel and Restaurant,” in collaboration with The Lemon Tree & Co. Meanwhile, in Hacienda White, the Egypt-based developer released Mazeej Hotel in a joint venture (JV) with G’nK Hospitality, according to the press release on September 30.

“Unique in design and facilities, Le Sidi and Mazeej hotels are PHD’s first of many pending projects, which the developer has constructed in order to revive the Egyptian tourism industry and adapt to the increasing interest in Egypt as an international holiday destination,” read the statement.

Stretching over 10,000 square meters along the coastline, Mazeej offers 34 rooms and four suites, complemented with a private lagoon and gourmet restaurants, “reflecting the serenity of the area through minimalist design and seamless architecture that blends into the surrounding landscape.”

As for Le Sidi, inspired by the vibrant and multifaceted culture of North Africa, the hotel is developed on an area of 20,000 square meters and encompasses 28 suites, along with multiple facilities and amenities, including a private organic garden, an exclusive beachfront, and a fine dining restaurant.

Speaking of the newest additions, Chairman of PHD Yasseen Mansour highlighted, “The construction of Le Sidi Hotel and Mazeej Hotel are small, yet significant first steps in our commitment to achieving Egypt’s national objective [to improve infrastructure and facilitate tourism in all parts of the country].”
