Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly reaffirmed the government’s commitment to completing and opening the Fustat Hills Park, highlighting its unique blend of heritage, cultural, and recreational zones, as well as its views of Cairo’s historic landmarks, Invest-Gate reports.

Prime Minister described the project as a major environmental, tourism, and cultural destination in the heart of the capital.

Madbouly made the remarks during a meeting attended by Housing Minister Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing Utilities and Urban Communities; Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber, and several senior officials from the Urban Development Fund and other relevant agencies. He directed the swift completion of all remaining components and the launch of public services within the park.

El Sherbini reviewed progress across the park’s main zones, including cultural, investment, market, adventure, hill, river, heritage garden, promenade, excavation, and mosque plaza areas, noting that most components have reached advanced completion stages. Initial handovers for some sections are underway, with intensified work ongoing to finalize the rest.

Central Agency for Reconstruction Chairman Mahmoud Nassar detailed infrastructure, landscaping, and site coordination works, which include green spaces, artificial lakes, service buildings, restaurants, malls, and event plazas.

Urban Development Fund Chairman Khaled Seddik outlined steps taken for the park’s management and operation, including field visits by interested companies, investor inquiries, and the evaluation process for selecting a qualified operator in coordination with the Ministry of Housing to ensure high-quality maintenance and operations.
