Prime Minister Follows Up on “Hayah Kareema” Projects Across Governorates

Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, holds a meeting to follow up on the implementation rate of several development projects in 10 governorates, covering 25 centers, under the presidential initiative, “Hayah Kareema,” Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting is held in the presence of Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Sayed Ismail, deputy minister of housing for infrastructure affairs, Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, Ehab Khedr, head of the National Organization for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage (NOPWASD), Mamdouh Raslan, head of the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW), and Osama Hamdy, advisor to the minister of housing for utility affairs.

The minister explains that the plans of the 158 citizen service complexes have been prepared, while the other 141 complexes are underway. Additionally, he states that work is underway in 156 youth centers in Gharbia, Minya, Qalyubia, Fayoum, Assiut, Luxor, and Aswan.

Moreover, he reveals that the target number of road networks for development reaches 1,385 roads, with a total length of 5,580 km. El Gazzar indicates that land plots are provided for agricultural service complex projects in 119 local units, and work is underway in 23 of them, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture.

Turning to the health sector, El Gazzar points out that the Ministry of Health has demanded the establishment of 578 health units and medical centers, in addition to 174 ambulance points.

Furthermore, El Gazzar adds that the initiative includes 751 electricity projects, and that the work has been divided into 41 areas, in coordination with the Ministry of Electricity.

Moreover, he states that sanitation projects are being implemented in 540 villages, while potable water projects are being implemented in 25 centers.
