Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly affirmed the government’s commitment to maximizing returns from underutilized state assets through effective management and partnerships with the private sector, Invest-Gate reports.

Madbouly made the remarks during a meeting to review investment opportunities for vacant plots along the Nile Corniche, attended by Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber Khalil, and several senior officials from the Ministry of Housing, the Urban Development Fund, and other relevant agencies.

Madbouly stressed the need to expedite the assessment of these lands, in line with approved detailed plans, to prepare them for investment.

Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed El Homsany said the initial survey, conducted by Cairo Governorate, covered Nile Corniche districts including El-Sahel, Rod El-Farag, Boulaq Abou El-Ela, West Cairo, Dar El-Salam, El-Maasara, Helwan, and El-Tebbin. The survey detailed the locations, ownership, and areas of the plots.

Cairo Governor Khalil confirmed full coordination among state ownership bodies, local units, and the governorate’s state assets department to optimize resources under the State Asset Governance Project.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Madbouly instructed officials to complete a comprehensive and accurate survey of the land, evaluate it, and develop a clear plan for optimal utilization.
