Prime Minister Reviews New Construction Requirements

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly holds a meeting to review the new construction requirements with members of the local Administration and Housing Committees, Invest-Gate reports.

The Prime Minister affirms that this aims at demonstrating the governing building system, according to an official statement on February 16. “There are several ministries that have worked to set these requirements in cooperation with the Engineers Syndicate. We further have an executive framework to govern the construction system, and an awareness campaign as well,” Madbouly says.

Moreover, he adds, “We welcome any opinions or suggestions to develop a better system of the urban plan in Egypt to make it easier for citizens. Our goal is to achieve the public good that serves this sector, and preventing the violations at the same time,” he notes.

The meeting was in the presence of Major General Mahmoud Sharawi, Minister of Local Development Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar, Counselor Alaa El-Din Fouad, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Hani Dahi, Head of the Engineers Syndicate, and Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for University Affairs.
