Projects worth nearly KWD 4 bn are currently stalled in Kuwait due to the delay of payment of dues by the government, reported Reuters Zawya.

The list of stalled projects range from infrastructure over housing to hospitals and ports. Referring to a report by the State Audit Bureau, the article claims that further projects under the development plans from 2014 to 2016 are also delayed due to rising costs and a lack of planning.
