Q Developments has announced a collaboration with Accor Global S.A., Europe’s largest hospitality group, to bring the first “Novotel” hotel to Egypt’s North Coast, Invest-Gate reports.

The hotel will be part of the “Q North” resort located in Sidi Abdel Rahman, marking a significant milestone for the company.

Ahmed Thabet, Chairman of Q Developments, confirmed that the Novotel Hotel will be a key feature of the Q North project, which is currently under construction. Spread over four and a half feddans, the hotel will offer 240 rooms and suites, along with a range of amenities, including meeting halls, entertainment areas, restaurants, and cafes. Other features include a 600-meter swimming pool, gym, spa, and private parking.

Moreover, within the larger Q North development, which spans 100 feddans, the hotel is located at the 136th kilometer on the Alexandria-Matrouh highway, across from Marassi Aqua Park.

Furthermore, Q Developments chose Novotel because it focuses on modernity, simplicity, and luxury, aligning with the company’s vision. Novotel’s expertise in operating 560 hotels worldwide, including several in Egypt, made it the ideal partner for this venture.

Also, Thabet emphasized that the hotel will help extend the resort’s appeal beyond the busy summer season, providing year-round value for unit owners. Novotel guests can also access the resort’s clubhouse and Crystal Lagoon beach.

In addition to the hotel, Q North will feature a 34,650 sqm commercial mall with international brands, restaurants, cafes, and office spaces. The mall boasts a 700-meter frontage and parking for 500 cars.
