Real Estate Investment in Abu Dhabi Rise 42% in 3 Months

The number of new investors in the real estate sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi reached 1,769 in the first quarter of this year, compared to 1,244 investors during the same period a year earlier, an increase of 42%, Invest-Gate reports.

The percentage of non-resident investors during the first quarter of this year was 10.71%, compared to 6.10% for non-resident investors during the first quarter of last year, an increase of 75%, according to official data issued by the Department of Municipalities and Transport.

The total value of real estate transactions in Abu Dhabi during the first quarter of this year increased by 147% compared to the same period last year.

The number of transactions also increased by 66% during the same period, with 5,472 real estate disposal transactions worth AED 27.9 bn, compared to 3,304 transactions worth AED 11.3 bn in the same period last year.
