Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate General Authority (REGA) has announced the registration and issuance of more than 250,000 new property ownership deeds on the real estate registry platform since the beginning of the in-kind real estate registration work in May 2023.

The authority elaborated that this is for areas deemed as beneficiaries of the in-kind registration services provided by REGA, specifically including Riyadh, Mecca Al Mukarammah, Dammam, Medina Al Munawarra, and Buraidah.

Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, CEO of REGA, explained that real estate registration work in the Al-Falah neighborhood as the first real estate has witnessed notable success due to the quality of geospatial data that was worked on using modern technologies.

Al-Hammad that the real estate registry uses remote sensing techniques, artificial intelligence, and zoning using global positioning system (GPS) satellites. These technologies enable the authority to quickly process real estate deed data in the beneficiary neighborhoods as well as coordinate between relevant government and private agencies.
