Redcon Construction (ROCC) announces the contract with Hill International to provide project management solutions, consulting services and facilities management for green buildings with the sustainability concept of the Golden Gate project in West Cairo with investments amounting to EGP 20 bn, Invest-Gate reports.
Hill International takes over the facilities management for green buildings in the Golden Gate project, from the design to project delivery, due to its huge experience in managing major national projects like the Grand Egyptian Museum and the two “Monorail” trains in the NAC and 6th of October, in order to ensure the implementation according to the latest international standards and in line with the directions of ROCC in applying green building standards and sustainability in the project, for reducing energy consumption, preserving the environment, and maximizing the rental value of the buildings.
Tarek El-Gamal, chairman of ROCC, says that the combination of the experiences of Hill International in managing major projects, in addition to the experience and capabilities of Redcon in building and construction, contributes to the implementation of the “Golden Gate” project in accordance with the highest quality standards in all its phases.
Waleed Abdel Fattah, Senior Vice President and North Africa Regional Manager, states, “We are pleased to announce our contract with ROOC on Golden Gate project, which is one of the largest of several mixed-use projects in Egypt, on a total built-up area of more than 200,000 sqm, and a huge garage with a surface area of 240,000 sqm, as two underground floors, with a capacity of about 8,000 cars. The project also provides administrative offices, commercial and entertainment areas, and services based on sustainability and green building.”
Golden Gate project is an economic center and a global destination, which will improve investment through the establishment and presentation of a project that adopts the concept of green buildings in Southern 90th Street in front of the American University in Cairo.
