The New Urban Communities Authority’s (NUCA) Vice President Kamal Bahgat said that Fardous Compound has seen 80% of its 1,470 social housing units finalized in Sadat City, Invest-Gate reports.

This came during a tour where Bahgat followed up on the implementation of housing projects to ensure commitment to deadlines, as well as the precautionary measures to safeguard the workers’ health amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Bahgat was accompanied by Head of the Sadat City Development Authority Alaa Manea, in addition to other officials from NUCA.

In January, NUCA’s Bahgat said 5,800 social housing units in Sadat City had reached an execution rate of 75%. Upgrading works of water and sewage networks, as well as, electricity grids are almost 95% complete on-site.
