Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has chaired the National Committee meeting- formed according to a Cabinet decision- to follow up on the development project of the Greatest Transfiguration in Saint Catherine, Invest-gate reports.
The minister affirms that 14 development projects, executed by the Central Authority for Reconstruction and funded by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), are currently underway. Moreover, El Gazzar stresses the necessity of coordination among all responsible officials, remove any obstacles, in a bid to boost the completion rate and stick to the timetables.
Additionally, El Gazzar highlights the importance of marketing the project globally through preparing film and promotional materials to spread the word on the spiritual, historical, environmental, and natural aspects of this place. This project aims to establish a spiritual shrine on the mountains surrounding the Holy Valley.
It is noteworthy that the project has to be compatible with the environmental standards as its main target is to develop the nature of Saint Catherine and to be a global spiritual tourist destination.
