In a major move to reshape Egypt’s real estate landscape, SAMCO – National Construction Company, and Segment for Investment and Real Estate Development have announced a joint investment alliance under the name SEGMENTS 4 Development, Invest-Gate reports.

The new entity targets investments exceeding EGP 20 bn across 2025 and 2026.

Eng. Abdel Rahman Abdelgayed, Chairman and Founder of SEGMENTS 4 Development, said the new alliance brings together over 32 years of construction and infrastructure experience with a modern development vision tailored to the evolving Egyptian market.

SEGMENTS 4 Development plans to offer a diverse portfolio including residential, commercial, administrative, medical, and hospitality units.

The company will be led by Abdelgayed, also the founder of Samco, alongside Eng. Yasser Raslan, founder of Segment. Their partnership aims to deliver a comprehensive urban development model focused on prime land portfolios, especially in West Cairo.

Raslan, the Executive Chairman and Founder of SEGMENTS 4 Development, said two flagship projects are scheduled for launch in 2025, with several integrated developments to follow in 2026. Some will be ready for immediate delivery upon completion, with a focus on sustainability and execution quality.

Abdelgayed highlighted Samco’s long-standing presence in national infrastructure projects, having partnered with various governmental entities. Its achievements include over 150 schools, 50 post offices, and 17 health units.

Raslan added that Segment has built 36 upscale buildings in Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October, and owns the soon-to-open 120-bed Square Health Hospital.

Abdelrahman Ashraf, Chief Commercial Officer, said the company will soon unveil its first project as part of its expansion strategy.
