Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate Registry Begins Registration for 55 Districts in Medina and Qatif

Saudi Arabia’s Real Estate Registry has announced the commencement of initial title registration for 73,994 land plots across 15 districts in Medina, 40 districts in Qatif, and 18 plots in Huraymila, Invest-Gate reports.

The Medina registration covers 43,697 plots in districts such as Ayn Al Khif, Wadi Madhinib, Al-Taqwa, Al-Hadhra, and parts of King Fahd, Al-Mahboobah, Al-Mabouth, Al-Salama, Al-Difa, and Al-Aziziya, among others.

In Qatif, 30,297 land plots are open for registration across districts including Al-Ruwayha, Al-Kawthar, Al-Badr, Granada, Al-Khaleej, Al-Firdous, Al-Montazah, and Al-Dira, among others. Meanwhile, Huraymila registration covers 18 land plots along Riyadh-Sudair-Qassim Old Road.

The Real Estate Registry has urged property owners in these districts to complete their registrations by May 29, 2025, to facilitate property transactions and avoid potential penalties. Owners can verify if their properties are included through the Real Estate Registry’s online platform.

The initiative is part of the registry’s efforts to enhance transparency and trust in Saudi Arabia’s real estate sector by establishing a comprehensive digital property database. Each registered property will be issued a unique property number and a title deed, detailing the property’s geographic location, owner information, rights, obligations, and transaction history.

The Real Estate General Authority is overseeing this initiative as per Cabinet regulations, with the National Company for Title Registration Services executing the project using geospatial data and advanced digital technologies to streamline the process.
