The Saudi Contractors Authority prepares to launch a project aimed at organizing the construction sector’s companies and activities, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reports.

The project aims to organize the sector’s companies and activities by determining the requirements of each company and recognizing them as undertakers of specialized or general activities, Authority Chairman Eng. Osama Al Afaleq says.

Al Afaleq adds that the project will enable greater awareness about companies operating in the construction sector.

“Partnerships between the government and private sector would lead to varied projects in the future, further promoting the need for ample information and statistics about the latter,” he states.
