The Nile Property Expo, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from May 25th to 27th organizes a meeting for the Egyptian developers with Majid Al-Hoqail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, Invest-Gate reports.
Al-Hoqail hosts the Egyptian developers at the ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, Al-Hoqail stresses that the kingdom will reinforce all serious developers and experts who desire to work and invest in the kingdom during the coming period, affirming that the Kingdom has great investment opportunities within the framework of Vision 2030.
For his part, Bassem Kalila, CEO of Expo Republic, highlights that the Saudi minister stressed during the event that the kingdom is keen to transfer Egyptian expertise in the real estate sector and to utilize it in the kingdom’s sustainable development plan.
Kalila adds that the Nile Property Expo always aims to support the Egyptian real estate sector and help succeed the real estate export experiences, noting that this process depends on several axes, not only selling Egyptian properties but also attracting investments and exporting labor and expertise.
He mentions that the kingdom currently studies the foreigners’ ability to own properties there to attract more investments.
Noteworthy that the Sakani program succeeded in serving more than 1.4 mn Saudi families by the end of 2022, reaching the goal of housing ownership to more than 60% in 2020, in partnership with the housing system and financing agencies from banks, financing institutions, and real estate developers.
It is worth highlighting that the Expo witnesses the presence of many developers, Ahmed Shalaby, President & CEO of Tatweer Misr & Chairman of Egyptian Real Estate Council, Bassem Kalila, CEO of Expo Republic, and the expo’s organizer, Mohamed ElDahan, CEO of City Edge Developments, Ahmed Mansour, CEO of CRED, and Mohamed El-Taher, CEO of the Saudi Egyptian Construction Company.
