Saudi Arabia’s General Real Estate Authority has urged property owners across 48 neighborhoods in Madinah Al Munawwarah, Riyadh, and Dammam to register their properties in the Real Estate Registry from today until the end of March 28, 2024, Invest-Gate reports.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), initial property registrations in these neighborhoods will be processed through the electronic Real Estate Registry platform.
Moreover, owners of residential, commercial, and other properties must submit the initial registration request accompanied by the necessary documents: a complete electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice meeting ownership conditions, valid identification, and a power of attorney if the applicant is representing the owner.
Furthermore, this phase involves over 368,565 property pieces. Starting today, records issued in these neighborhoods include property data, descriptions, status, rights, obligations, and geographic information related to property transactions based on geographical coordinates obtained through previous surveys.
Also, the Authority highlighted that the Real Estate Registry company is fully prepared to facilitate registrations via the online platform or by visiting service centers at designated locations in Madinah Al Munawwarah, Riyadh, and Dammam during working hours.
Notably, these centers are equipped to aid registrants, assist in utilizing electronic services through self-service kiosks, and offer support via the dedicated hotline 199002 for inquiries or follow-ups. Interested parties can book appointments via the official Real Estate Registry website to streamline registration.
