The Saudi Real Estate General Authority has announced that the Mollak electronic platform has achieved a significant milestone, recording over a million transactions and services since its inception, Invest-Gate reports.
The platform aims to facilitate the management of jointly owned real estate units and promote a culture of coexistence among occupants.
Mollak enables the establishment of owners’ associations, which oversee the management of shared facilities and common areas such as entrances, elevators, and corridors.
The platform streamlines processes such as nominating and voting for association leadership, billing association subscriptions, renewing association certificates, and accessing community services. Currently, more than 126,000 members across 36,000 owners’ associations are utilizing the platform, representing over 160,000 real estate units.
In 2023, the platform witnessed remarkable growth in user operations and new registrations. Over 28,000 members joined 9,100 owners’ associations throughout the year.
Additionally, through integration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the platform issued over 470 unified national numbers, granting legal status to the associations and facilitating their interactions with government and service agencies.
Furthermore, the platform facilitated the opening of bank accounts for 290 owners’ associations, and over 480 contracts were executed between associations and real estate managers within the platform.
