Saudi Real Estate Registry Launches Property Registration in Riyadh’s 15th District

Today, the Saudi Real Estate Registry announced the commencement of registration for over 51,000 properties in Riyadh’s 15th district, Invest-Gate reports.

This district includes eight neighborhoods: Jarir, Rabwah, Rayan, Rowabi, Salam, Manar, Western Naseem, and Eastern Naseem. It is bordered by Khurais Road to the north, Prince Muteb bin Abdullah Road to the east, Prince Saad bin Abdulrahman I Road to the south, and Ali bin Abi Talib Road to the west.

Moreover, property owners within this area are urged to register their properties through the Real Estate Registry’s platform within the next 90 days, ending September 26, 2024. Failure to register within this period may result in penalties and fines as per the Real Estate Registration Law.

Upon starting the registration period, a unique “property number” and ownership certificate will be issued for each registered property.

Furthermore, this certificate will detail the exact geographic location, ownership information, property description, and associated rights and obligations, providing a reliable foundation for documenting property ownership and related rights. This initiative aims to enhance the sustainability and development of the real estate sector.

The National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the registry in Saudi Arabia, utilizing geospatial data and modern technologies through an integrated digital platform to boost transparency and confidence in property services and data.
