Saudi Shura Council Urges Development of Tools and Incentives for Export Houses Licensing, Boosting Exports

The Saudi Shura Council has requested the Saudi Export Development Authority, in coordination with relevant authorities, to develop criteria for determining priority sub-brands within the “Made in Saudi Arabia” program, Invest-Gate reports.

This initiative aims to enhance the position of Saudi products in global markets.

The Council, in its resolution, emphasized that the Authority, in coordination with the relevant authorities, should develop the necessary tools and incentives to expand the licenses of companies engaged in export activities. This expansion will facilitate greater access for Saudi exports to global markets.

Furthermore, the Council stressed the need for the Authority, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to establish effective mechanisms that integrate export and re-export initiatives and align them with the initiatives of special economic zones and free zones.

The Shura Council also called for empowering the Saudi Export Development Authority to activate its initiatives in supporting export facilities and addressing geopolitical and economic changes. The goal is to enhance the capabilities of exporters and improve their competitiveness.

In another resolution, the Shura Council urged the General Real Estate Authority, in coordination with government agencies, to expedite the completion of the inventory and documentation of state-owned real estate, as well as the issuance of deeds.
