Savills Egypt, a prominent global real estate consultancy, has successfully hosted the inaugural commercial real estate networking event in Cairo “Savills Retail Connect”, Invest-Gate reports.

The event brought together key players from both the real estate and retail sectors, featuring a presentation showcasing crucial insights into commercial real estate based on a survey conducted among about 50 influential developers and retailers.

Furthermore, the survey addressed economic expectations, with nearly 50% of retailers and property owners indicating no adjustments to their expansion plans. This reflects confidence in their growth trajectory despite current economic conditions. 100% of developers and retail traders selected East Cairo as their preferred location for future expansions.

Also, Sherine Badreldine, Head of Operations at Savills Egypt, remarked, “With the regular recurrence of this event, we hope to provide further research and data to the retail market, thereby enhancing deal-making for developers and retailers alike.”
