Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, will distribute AVEVA solutions in Egypt to accelerate the nation’s industrial digital transformation, Invest-Gate reports.
The new partnership was announced at the firms’ first joint event in Egypt, attended by system integrators, machine builders, manufacturers and industrial distributors.
Schneider and AVEVA showcased software updates, new business models, and partner programs over four sessions. Awards recognized certified AVEVA system integrators.
AVEVA’s brand-agnostic software works with multiple hardware brands and offers over 140 industry solutions for manufacturing, infrastructure, water and more.
When coupled with Schneider’s industrial tools, the solutions optimize engineering, operations and maintenance across organizations, boosting efficiency, savings and profit while lowering risks and powering sustainability.
“We join forces to help fast-track Egypt’s industrial digital shift,” said Schneider Northeast Africa and Levant Vice President Ahmed Madkour.
“Automation now relies on data and software-driven thinking to reduce costs and boost agility sustainably,” Madkour added.
Products demonstrated included AVEVA Insight for actionable insights; AVEVA PI for real-time operations data collection and analytics; AVEVA MES for digitizing plant processes; and AVEVA Operations Center for enterprise visualization.
AVEVA Channel Manager Ahmed Fawzy said the Egyptian market’s transformation potential is huge.
