Schneider Electric SE, a global specialist in energy management and automation, hosted its latest event as part of the “Industries of the Future” innovation talk series last week to discuss the concept of future industries and automated software-based control solutions for the industry, Invest-Gate reports.

The symposium attracted more than 140 experts, business owners, and workers from various industrial sectors led by food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, iron and cement, and textiles as well as machinery assemblers, manufacturers, distributors, and industrial control system integrators.

The event featured a panel discussion with Ahmed Madkour, Vice President of Schneider’s industrial sector in Northeast Africa and the Levant, Bahgat El-Dahesh, Board Member of the Chamber of Engineering Industries, and Mohamed Badreldin, Chief Government Relations Officer at Intro Sustainable Resources. The panel discussed the latest industry developments in Egypt and the use of technology solutions to enhance sustainability in the sector.

Through the Innovation Talk, Schneider aims to further the concept of future industries to achieve flexibility and expand the use of software-based automated control solutions to support job creation and enable smarter, more sustainable production processes.

Schneider’s innovative solutions support digital transformation by leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning for data analysis, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to connect machines, enhancing faster, more effective decision-making, consumption monitoring, and fault handling to ensure operational sustainability.

Ahmed Madkour, Schneider’s industrial sector VP, said: “At Schneider Electric, we aim to enable all our partners to maximize available resources which helps achieve progress and sustainability for all, reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption to reach zero carbon.”
