Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced the opening of applications for the third Schneider Electric Sustainability Impact Awards, Invest-Gate reports.
Launched in 2022, it aims to recognize the contributions of Schneider’s partner ecosystem in promoting a more sustainable and electric world.
Moreover, applications are open until October 15, 2024, and global winners will be revealed in early 2025.
The awards focus on decarbonization efforts to electrify, reduce, and replace energy usage while promoting broader initiatives under Electricity 4.0.
Furthermore, this involves strategies to improve energy efficiency, implement digital tools and technologies, and foster impactful innovations. Winners gain recognition and enjoy global visibility, potentially unlocking new business opportunities.
“We believe that when innovation and commitment come together, we can drive meaningful changes and create lasting impact. This award program celebrates the #ImpactMakers who are relentless and passionate in turning ambition into action for a more sustainable, electric, and digital world,” said Chris Leong, EVP Chief Marketing Officer at Schneider Electric.
Also, the previous editions of the Sustainability Impact Awards have seen significant participation from Egyptian companies, with 15 entries highlighting the growing local interest in sustainable practices. These businesses actively adopt eco-friendly measures within their operations and among their customers, contributing to climate change mitigation.
Notably, Paragon Developments, in collaboration with the Electro-Mechanical Design Group (EMG), was recognized as a global winner in the “Impact to My Customers” category. This achievement followed their success at the Middle East and Africa zone level.
