Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, showcases its latest cutting-edge solutions for the real estate sector and most prominent projects in partnership with top-performing local developers during its participation at MIPIM 2023 in Cannes, France, Invest-Gate reports.
During the exhibition, Egypt had a solid representation at the exhibition with a delegation led Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital Company alongside 13 top Egyptian real estate companies and consulting offices.
Further, representatives from Schneider Electric’s global leadership team shared groundbreaking insights in a number of panel discussions held on the sidelines of MIPIM exhibition including “COP27 the way forward” in which Estelle Monod, Senior Vice President of Building Segments at Schneider Electric, participated as a speaker among a lineup of experts.
Real estate experts included Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital Company, Victoria Burrows, Director of Advancing Net Zero at the World Green Building Council, and Ahmed Shalaby, President and CEO of Tatweer Misr.
MIPIM’s sessions addressed the pressing issues of sustainability in the new fourth-generation cities, the need for smart buildings to combat climate change, and accelerating the transition to net zero emissions.
The discussion emphasized the critical role the real estate sector plays in balancing all of this while maintaining the real estate growth rates in Egypt, with the invaluable contribution of companies like Schneider Electric in helping developers achieve their environmental goals.
As for Schneider Electric, it took part in the “Delivering sustainable growth at scale”, a session that highlighted the Egyptian State’s efforts to create a strong infrastructure that can support sustainable development, presenting the New Administrative Capital as a successful model for the partnership with global partners to develop new sustainable cities.
