Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly and Walid Sheta, president of Schneider Electric for North East Africa and Levant Countries have discussed cooperation in the field of renovating potable water and sewage stations, Invest-Gate reports.

Schneider, along with the national Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, will coordinate to choose a wastewater station to raise its capacity and reduce its energy consumption, according to a Housing Ministry statement.

Schneider is also keen on being part of the housing ministry’s water desalination projects, currently being implemented, the statement quoted Sheta as saying.
