Schon Properties, a Dubai-based developer, announced that the design of the planned lagoon in Dubai Investment Park (DIP) will be completed by the end of 2016, according to Gulf Business.

The man-made lagoon, to be built on an area of 20,000 square meters, is being designed by Crystal Lagoons and is set to form the centerpiece of the 51 buildings comprising Schon’s DIP projects.

The projects will include five residential areas as well as new hospitality projects. Crystal Lagoons is developing similar projects around the world, including several in the Middle East and Dubai.
