Chairman of Suez Canal SCZone Ahmed Darwish is to announce development plans in SCZone in March, including the construction of a connection between ports and industrial zones, Invest-Gate reports.

According to his statement, Darwish will also assign Egyptian contractors tenders for logistics projects in the upcoming period alongside tax benefits that will be given to investors.

Other projects to be developed on site include electricity stations and water treatment plants that will meet further development requirements.

Darwish is expected to speak about further details in the upcoming conference “Egypt’s Builders” organized by the Egyptian Federation for Building & Construction Contractors (EFBCC). The conference will be held in March and is to gather all Egyptian construction contractors, who will discuss investment plans and sustainable urban developments.
