SDF Inks Contracts for Slum Development in Gharbeya, Dakahlia

The Slum Development Fund signed two agreements worth EGP 57 million to develop slums in Gharbeya and Dakahlia governorates, reported Al Borsa.

The Gharbeya agreement entails developing Sook El Laban, Sandafa, and Abu Shahin, according to El Balad News.

Infrastructure to be conducted includes street lights, road pavement, implementing water plants and sewage work, all with an estimated implementation time of 12 months.

For the Dakahlia governorate, Ezbet El Safeeh in Mansoura will be developed, mainly focusing on the electrical infrastructure for the area.

The agreements were signed with Gharbeya Governor, Ahmed Sakr, and Dakhalia Governor, Hossam El Din, in the presence of Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail,  Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Communities Development, Mostafa Madbouly, and Minister of Local Development, Ahmed Zaki Badr.
