Approximately 20,000 social housing units are being delivered in New Aswan City and 320 social housing units are to be completed in 2017, according to Mostafa Saeed head of the City’s Authority, reported Al Mal.
The city will also witness the construction of two public services projects at a cost of EGP 33 mn, including a mall and two schools, which will be finished this year.
New Aswan City also sees maintenance works being applied at a cost of EGP 65 million alongside with the construction of its fourth phase of its 150- acres- expansion plan, Saeed confirmed.
Further, in New Assiut, approximately 6,320 social housing units have been completed at a cost of EGP 853 mn. Additionally, the fifth phase of the social housing project is set to be finalized, according to Head of the City’s Authority Ahmed Omran. The phase will contain 139 social housing building that comprise 3,336 units.
Ready-to-move-in units will be delivered within the next few days, according to another article by Al Mal. The newspaper states that commercial projects will also be developed in New Aswan on 375 acres of lands at a cost of EGP 3.2 mn.
