Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mostafa Madbouly is announcing the completion of sewage lifting stations and expulsion lines in eight villages in Damietta, Invest-Gate reports.
Scheduled to enter service at the end of this month, the sewage projects will be beneficial to around 50,000 citizens across the villages.
The projects are valued at EGP 170 mn, with sanitation coverage reaching 38% in Damietta and expected to reach 69% by the end of this year, according to El-Sayed Al-Ashri, Chairman of the National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitation.
