Indian engineering and construction company Shapoorji Pallonji (SP) stated it has begun the construction of Imperial Avenue, a residential tower project in Downtown Dubai, according to a press release on Monday.

With an early start, the firm expects to complete the project within 34 months to be ready for delivery in October 2019, it claims. SP’s subsidiary SP Middle East undertook the work on the superstructure itself and is scheduled to commence in January 2017.

Upon completion, Imperial Avenue will offer a 1.4 mn- square- foot built-up area, providing a 21,000 -square- foot retail space and luxury residential units starting from AED 1.47 mn.
