Sharjah Holding, a partnership between Majid Al Futtaim and Sharjah Asset Management, launches Uptown Al Zahia, the newest neighborhood in Al Zahia, on Wednesday, May 16, Invest-Gate reports.

The project features two clusters – ‘Woroud’ and ‘Zohour’ – consisting of residences ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, with direct access to City Center Al Zahia, according to a statement released by the developer on inauguration day.

In addition to swimming pools, fitness facilities, and underground parking, all designed within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, leisure, and entertainment outlets.

“Uptown Al Zahia builds upon the emirate’s rich cultural and environmental heritage. We are excited to bring to market yet another innovative destination set within a progressive, sustainable, green community,” said Sharjah Holding’s CEO Walid Al Hashimi.

Structured in the form of eight individually designed neighborhoods, Al Zahia is scheduled for completion in 2023, by which time it expects to be home to more than 700 families in 2,270 villas, townhouses, and apartments, featuring six themed community parks.
