Tatweer Misr signed an agreement for Six Sense Hotels and Resorts to build and manage a resort in Tatweer’s Il Monte Galala project in Ain Sokhna, Amwal Al Ghad reported on Tuesday.
The total investment cost of the resort is EGP 1 bn, according to the Managing Director of Tatweer Misr, Ahmed Shalaby. The resort will reportedly include 100 suites and 60 hotel units, and will be built 120 meters above sea level.
The signing of the agreement follows an initial memorandum of understanding between the two companies, according to Al Mal.
Il Monte Galala is a multi-purpose project built on 2.2 mn square meters in Ain Sokhna with total investments of EGP 8 bn. The resort will feature approximately 5,000 touristic residential units upon completion.
