SKY AD. Developments, the real estate arm of the UAE’s Diamond Group, announced that its project Bluetree in New Cairo has won the African Property Awards for the category of “Residential Projects with over 20 Units for 2023-2024” as the best residential project in Africa, Invest-Gate reports.

This prestigious award was granted by an independent panel of expert judges, recognizing the project’s unique design and prime location.

This achievement aligns with the vision of SKY AD. Developments to create distinctive and diverse projects that cater to various customer segments.

Moreover, it also adds to the series of successes of the Bluetree project, which achieved remarkable sales of approximately EGP 3 bn in record time. The project witnessed high customer demand during the recent interior exhibitions, including the Cityscape 2023 exhibition.

For his part, Abdulrahman Ajami, the CEO of SKY AD. Developments, and Mustafa Salah, the CEO of the Commercial Sector at SKY AD. Developments, received the African Property Awards during the ceremony held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in Dubai. A select group of prominent real estate developers from Africa and the Middle East attended the event.

It is worth mentioning that SKY AD. Developments launched the Bluetree project in February of last year on a 50-acre land. The project stands out with numerous advantages, making it one of the best residential projects in New Cairo.

Furthermore, it is strategically located in the renowned “Golden Square” area of New Cairo. It was designed with the international firm JZMK, offering customers a comfortable modern living experience.

Also, only 19% of the total area is occupied by buildings, providing a healthy environment for residents and adhering to environmental standards for climate preservation and resource conservation.

The Bluetree project consists of 1,300 residential units, including apartments and duplexes with varying sizes ranging from 115 to 300 sqm.

Ajami expressed his happiness with one of the company’s projects winning the “African Property Awards” for the second consecutive year. Previously, the Capital Avenue project, one of the largest commercial projects in the R8 area of the New Administrative Capital, also won the African Property Award for 2022 as the best mixed-use project in Egypt.

Notably, this success affirms the management’s vision of implementing real estate projects that add value to the Egyptian real estate sector and win prestigious international awards. It also promotes the urban renaissance that is taking place in the country and builds confidence in the quality of the real estate products offered in the local market. The award also reflects the track record of Diamond Group in developing major projects in the UAE and Egypt.
