Social Housing Fund Approves Decisions in Favor of Low-Income Classes

The Social Housing Fund has approved a number of important decisions in favor of the low-income classes, residents of informal settlements, and trade unions’ members, Invest-Gate reports.

The fund’s BoD approved to sell 11 residential buildings in Al Khosous City in Qalyubia governorate to house residents living in informal settlements, according to Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly.

The Ministry will also offer new units for members of trade unions in new cities.

The fund gave a nod to sell four social housing buildings comprising 96 units in New Tiba city, 2,664 units in Giza, and 16 units in North Sinai.
