The Ministry of Housing  Utilities, and Urban Communities makes this Saturday December 30 the deadline for reserving social housing units in Dahshour, 6th of October City, Invest-Gate reports.

According to the minister himself, Mostafa Madbouly, this deadline is for eliminated applicants  from the 8th announcement opening, who have not met the qualification or who have submitted insufficient documents. Nonetheless, this deadline does not include previous applicants who chose to withdraw their applications and refund their down-payments as well.

According to the social housing regulations, all applicants were requested to provide a down payment of EGP 9,000 to and a proof of a monthly income with a minimum of EGP 1000  and not exceeding EGP 3500 per family. Single citizens were to submit a proof of a monthly income of EGP 2500, confirms Mai Abdel Hamid, head of the Mortgage Finance Fund.

Furthermore, previous applicants for units in Badr City but were unable to received them, are allowed to adjust their applications this Saturday as well.
