Sixth of October Development Investment Company (SODIC) corrected rumors concerning delaying the submission of the general plan for project development with Heliopolis Company for Housing & Development (HELI) to September, stating that they only pushed the deadline 10 weeks to March 2017.

SODIC sent a letter with these details to Heba El-Seirfy, Vice Chairman of the sector of the companies listed in the Egyptian Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

The consultant requested the stated deadline extension because the amount of the studies and research he expects to conduct during the upcoming period to up the project designs to the highest international standards, according to the letter .

The project is scheduled to launch in 2H2017. SODIC asserted that this extension will neither affect the time of launch nor the project’s timeplan.
