Sixth of October Development and Investment Company (SODIC) releases its first sustainability report in accordance with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Invest-Gate reports.

The company also discloses the carbon footprint of all its projects, which comes in line with its long-term decarbonization strategy.

SODIC is the first Egyptian developer to publish its GRI sustainability report.

The report was announced during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Sharm El-Sheikh.

“We are proud of the steady steps we are taking on our sustainability journey. We have just completed a full ESG assessment and will now look at how to systemically integrate sustainable practices across the value chain,” SODIC’s Managing Director, Magued Sherif, says.
