Sixth of October Development and Investment Company (SODIC) is preparing to deliver the first units in the “June” North Coast project during the third quarter of 2025, the company’s General Manager Ayman Amer told Invest-Gate.
Amer added that the company was able to sell about 55% of the “June” project, valued at EGP 2.5 bn, in just three days for the beach apartments area, which is being launched with a new concept for the first time on the North Coast, following European models.
Amer indicated that the “June” North Coast project was launched in 2021 on an area of 281 feddans, with 600 meters of beachfront, with a total of 2,800 units, located 10 kilometers before the Caesar project, at Kilo 94 of the Alexandria-Marsa Matrouh Road in the Ras El-Hikma area. The project’s construction ratio is about 20% of the total area.
In a related context, Amer explained that SODIC took advantage of the gradual geographic terrain, which reaches a height of 55 meters above sea level, in the “June” project on the North Coast. He added that it provides a luxurious real estate experience on terraces that allow residents to enjoy a panoramic view of the scenic water bodies, while guaranteeing privacy for customers, which the company always aims to provide.
He noted that the proposed building heights in the project consist of a ground floor and three additional floors, characterized by international design and stunning sea views. The first phase of the project will be completed in 2025 after completing all services.
Amer confirmed that the project’s hotel will be operational by 2027, explaining that the hotel was designed on the highest area of the project to ensure that all units enjoy a breathtaking view.
He also stated that SODIC is seeking to acquire additional plots of land outside of the North Coast area, such as east and west Cairo, as SODIC currently owns a land portfolio that includes 620 feddans added this year, 180 of which represent an extension of the Caesar project, which has an investment cost of EGP 10 bn over the coming years.
In July, the company announced a contract to develop 440 feddans in partnership with Al Safi Real Estate Development Company, located at Kilo 83 on the Alexandria-Marsa Matrouh Road, with more than 800 meters of sea frontage.
