After a six year delay, the stalled Marina West project in Bahrain is now open for bids, reported Arabian Business.
Potential buyers are now invited to submit their documents including proofs of capabilities and experience by the end of January.
The $750 mn project started in 2007 but was stalled in March 2010, months before its scheduled completion, due to the financial crisis. It was originally designed to include over 1,000 apartments in 10 residential towers and a five-star hotel.
Bahrain has recently set up a committee to deal with stalled real estate projects. Earlier this month Indian hospitality company Ramee Group bought the stalled Juffair Views project.
