Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) is pleased to announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Egypt Education Platform (EEP), the largest and fastest-growing education services provider in Egypt, owned by the Egypt Education Fund, which is managed and backed by EFG Hermes, Invest-Gate reports.

Establishing a Private University in Noor City, East Cairo
Under this agreement, a private university will be established in Noor City, one of the integrated urban developments being developed by Talaat Moustafa Group at Capital Gardens in East Cairo. The city spans an area of 21 million square meters and is designed in line with the latest standards of sustainability and smart cities.

TMG’s Contribution and Investment Structure
TMG’s participation in the project is limited to contributing the land allocated for the university, which covers approximately 216,000 square meters. The agreement includes an equity stake in the project-owning company, in addition to a share of revenues throughout the project’s operational lifespan. The total estimated investment cost of the project amounts to approximately EGP 8 billion.

Project Timeline and Operation of Educational Facilities
Construction of the first phase of the university is expected to commence by 2029. According to the agreement, Egypt Education Platform will also operate two schools in Noor City under a management agreement. In this context, Talaat Moustafa Group will contribute the land for the two schools and inject the required investments for the facilities, while EEP will assume management and operational responsibilities.
Noor City Deliveries Expected to Begin in 2026
Deliveries of residential units in Noor City are expected to begin in 2026, in line with the approved timeline.
